Has anybody come up with a novel idea to hold the sliding door open at increments ie not just fully open or fully closed?

Fit 5mm foam pads or similar approx 25mm apart where you want in to stop onto the top door rail, works a treat.

I believe there is also a VW part for the crafter van that is for the job but is a lot of work to fit. There is a thread somewhere with the fitting nstructions.
