One Q, does the handbrake impede turning the drivers seat ?

Great info, thank you !It doesn't impede the seat on the pre-facelift either as it's a flyoff type and always in the down position whether applied or not.
Wow! Right colour as well (in my opinion of course) !
Hi, yep, off for a month in September. Looking forward to it. Ill post some photos if I see any.Go to the Continent and you'll see loads of them - a mixture of rental & privately owned ones.
They're a big hit in Europe and can't really understand why they haven't done better here; a really quality feel with lots of on board utility in a relatively compact space.
Hi Michele,We have one! GC600! We love it! We also thought a bit ugly but we don’t have the top bed option so we have so much space it overrides that. It’s a quality build, heating is superb and it’s big enough but not too big, can still park in supermarket car parks. The white cupboards look a bit stark to begin with but once you put your belongings in it’s an excellent neutral background and makes everywhere light. Highly recommend this excellent VW camper as an upgrade from the California.
Hopefully coming to Switzerland next month as part of our Europe trip. Just got my vignette, hope the weather stays fine and I will look out for you!! Westfalia Club Joker with a high roof. Sounds nice!We see plenty of GC's around Switzerland and Germany. My Westfalia Club Joker Highroof on the other hand... I have only seen 2 in the last 3 years.
Totally agree Jon. The extra living/storage space over the Ocean has been transformational for us.Well I agree .
I’ve had my GC600 for three months, I’ve been away 5 times but never seen another one.
I love it , roomy ,comfortable and loads of storage space compared with my old T6 .
Every site I go to I get people asking about it and admiring it .
Lovely, lovely vehicle. Great choice. Looked at one at Wandahome near us a while back but really availability and I suppose price put me off. It was my first choice then saw the Eriba car at a show and liked that. Once again, availability was the big problem. Suppose I just tripped into a GC600 then, but fairly pleased with it so far. That's the one, Ice Blue, should get it late Sept or early Oct.

Yep the handbrake is pretty easy to use now.Hi,
Just jumping in with the handbrake question and no it doesnt.
The handbrake is the 'flyaway' type which helps, so even when the handbrake is on, it lies on the van floor so doesnt impede when turning the drivers seat.
The Cali was such a pain we used to just end up moving it forward and inclining it and not bother turning it around.
You do need to have the seat in the correct position though, same as the California, but the scope of positioning is a 1000 times easier than the Cali.
