Heater vent

Does anyone know what side of the van the parking heater exhaust is?, does it exhaust on the awning side(sliding door side) if so, is it safe to sleep in the awning when heater is on?

Yes it is on the sliding door side and I had exactly the same worry when we were away this week. My husband was sleeping in the awning and me & the kids were in the van. I did put the heater on for a while but the fumes are really strong when you first turn it on and I was worried about gassing him out. I'd forgotten the CO monitor so didn't risk it this time...

I think a Co2 monitor is the key, hope everyone reads this and is aware
