Height with VW bike rack?

Trying to decide which bile rack to buy. Does the VW bike rack when not in use put the Cali over 2.0m? if so by how much - would lowering the van by 40mm get me under 2.0m

Empty bike rack is lower than the roof.

Obviously, when you have adult bikes on the rack then the handlebars will project up above the roofline. As my wife discovered when trying to squeeze under a 2m barrier in Wendover woods ...
