Height with VW rack with bikes on ?

As per the title, has anyone measured the total height of the van with bikes on a (Kylie) VW rack ?
I know it depends a little on the size of the bikes, but wondering whether I'll fit on as a medium on Condor ferries with a 2.25 metre height restriction.

You might just get away with it but in all honesty it depends totally on the bikes - different wheels, frame sizes, bike style, handlebar and stem set up etc - all make a big difference...

Take off the front wheel and you should be fine.

You'll be close and you really need to measure it.
Drop the seatpost or remove it.
Flip the stem.
Let the air out of your tyres
If it's a mountain bike bleed the front sus air spring.

Measure it
Measure it again...

The forks should be secured to the rack too. But it’s only for driving onto and off the ferry.
