Help on repairing fly screen in pop top

We had to cut our forward facing flyscreen in order to break into our cali (doors appeared to lock themselves with keys inside!) this week on holiday in France. Any advice on how to do a repair or get a replacement screen sown in - or at worst do we have remove and replace the whole canvas? My wife did a good temporary sewing repair but alas it has to be a temporary fix. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't think doors locked them selfes , are you sure you did not close the doors while inside , then opened the sliding door from the inside (pulling twice on the inside handle) and closing it when going out and not aware your keys where in ?
When this happens you better force in thru the sliding window much easyer and probaly cheaper than a new canvas .
