Help, roof stuck open

Left hydraulic cylinder broke this am. I have removed the control panel etc and accessed the red screw which I have loosened. Roof still up on right. Supposed to be going home today and missed the ferry! Can anyone help please

I'm not sure how far you have to unscrew the screw to release the pressure, but the screw should not be removed as it is a captive screw. Also pull down or push down the roof on the R side gently.

Thank you, it eventually came down with gentle persuasion. Now to replace the rams, any good suppliers around?

VW OEM will guarantee the correct part and fittings.
Select year then Body then scroll down to hydraulic roof for parts etc.
