thanks for all your great replies to my previous post - help us decide

one last thing im still puzzled over - road tax

are the calis classified as private light good vehicles which equates to an annual road tax of £215

the reason i am bothered is because a 180 dsg 4 motion if classified as a car would be in tax bracket L + £445 a year

quite a difference as the local garage has a 180 dsg 4 motion in stock !!

Hi Dave. Mine is the 140 manual and is £215 like you say
Kernowlad has a 180 4 motion I'm sure he will be able to help you on this one.

Hi Dave, yes you are correct both the 140 and the 180 (in all their variants) are classified as 'PLG' so the road tax on both is £215
