We’ve finally taken the plunge and ordered a new Cali (150 DSG) gave deposit earlier in the week and avoided the Nov 1st 3% price rise - used autoebid and received just less than 7% discount. We’d asked for a March 1st delivery for the new plate but will need to collect within 2 weeks of van arriving at dealer to avoid price rise. I asked the dealer if taking the 3% hit to get the 18 plate was worth it in the long run for a better resale value and he gave a firm ‘No!’ Looking forward to chatting on the forum!

Welcome! We used AutoEbid as well but took that quote to a dealer and was able to arrive at the 7% just a wee bit over in fact. Now the hard part though....the waiting
