This applies to all new owners of brand new, secondhand, campervans of any sort or make including larger vans or motorhomes.
When you take delivery, Do Not load it up straight away. Drive it, on all types of roads, for a few hundred miles if possible, and track down all the rattles and squeaks, if you have any. Then start loading bit by bit with a drive in between to track down any noises due to packing etc.
A can of Silicone spray and anti-slip matting are your friends.
Spray the runners of any sliding doors and any rubber seals. Anti-slip matting on kitchen shelves. Avoid metal on metal or cupboard walls if possible.
Cheap car wash sponges are good to minimise movement of packed items.
With a little time and patience you can end up with a rattle free vehicle on 99% of roads. But travelling at 40 on a off road track, forget it.
