hi all,
I’m hooked up to the campsite, cable ok and site ok but my Cali keeps kicking the site off ? Ie it changes with the symbol of the plug for say an hour then swaps to batteries as of it wasn’t hooked up ? I have to unplug and switch everything off and mess about to make it recognise the site again. No one else using the charger point is having an issue

What vehicle do you have as details don’t say?

Are you having to reset thebtrip every time, of are you disturbing a loose connection?

2012 se and no I don’t need to reset anything it simply won’t register that it has a 240v supply coming In

Currently camping in Liindau, Germany and my German neighbour in his 2012 SE has the same problem. Lead ok,power in ok, mains symbol on panel on and then goes off after 30 minutes. Very hot here 33 degress, wonder if it is the same problem. Any ideas guys? Did the charger get moved in later T5 models?

For those with the charger under the fridge there is a double whammy. Not only is it poorly ventilated but in warm weather with the fridge working hard there is the heat from the fridge to cope with as well.

Mine used to cut out when the weather warm and the fridge on. I found unplugging the hook-up for 30 minutes then replacing hook up was sufficient to kick the charger in again.

I sorted the problem by using a 12v fan left in the cupboard and running of the hook up but blowing air under the fridge. Hasn’t tripped in 5 days and the temp outside has increased to 40 degs
