How long should the bellows bungee be ?

Hi all,

We just received a bellows bungee and tried to fit it. It's far too short! The advertised length is 4m - ours is under 3m.
Obviously we'll return it but I'm curious how long is ideal? Even 4m seems a bit short to me.

I'm in Switzerland, it came from calitop.de. Inexpensive, but still. I might just keep the plastic link thingy and buy the bungee over the road in the Yacht Chandler.

Return it for a refund. They are pointless as the T6 bellows are weighted to allow the roof to close without trapping the bellows. The bungee also marks the bellows after time.
