This weekend it was freezing and snowing in Belgium... And in the morning I wasn't able to open the rear nor the sliding door due to frost sealings. It made me wonder if and how I should treat the sealings? With some kind of vaseline?

Silicone spray.

When I had a coupe with frame less windows people used to recommend Gummi Fledge, think it is popular in the BMW community. It lasts forever, so I have been using it on every car I have owned since.

I recently bought gummi pfledge to use on the frameless windows on my car, one treatment has lasted five months so far, it gets a thumbs up from me. I also like it because it has a silly name.

When frozen , always first "push" on the door before you " pull" it .
That way you give the ice a crack and the door usually opens without damaging the rubbers.

That seems to be some good advice! Thanks...
