I wrote a book in my van!

After recently retiring I’ve found myself with the time to get on and finish various projects. One of those was to finish a collection of children’s stories that have been sitting in a notebook for years.

When my girls were young I used to make up ‘daddy head stories’ about them and our old chocolate Labrador called Bodie. These stories and a collection of silly words they would make up by mistake have become characters and themes in ‘The Adventures of Bodie Good Boy’.

And this has been finally put together recently in the peace and quiet of our California

I’ve just published the book on Kindle and you can download a copy for free here for the next five days.

I’d love to know if anyone else has used their van for being creative and if anyone has written a book in their van too. I’ve found It’s a great place to get away from distractions at home.
