Hi I am picking up a T7 Ocean Tuesday. I asked the dealer some questions about the batteries and the inverter which the sales guy could not answer! So, what wattage is the inverter and where are the leisure batteries? He thought they were under the front passenger seat and in the rear cupboard, but not easy to access.
I was hoping to change the leisure batteries and the inverter as I have a 3000/6000 inverter and two 100 ah LiFe batteries from my previous setup in a Berlingo. I enjoy the ease of a 240v coffee machine, kettle etc. So any thoughts?

I don't know where the batteries are on the T7 (those locations are correct for a 6.1) but the inverter is the same as the 6.1 - 300W, flat sine wave, 230V. Which will not run a kettle etc due to the 300W limitation.

As the T7 leisure batteries are 2 x 40 amps they will be fairly small in size and I would be surprised if 2 x 100 amp batteries would fit in the relevant spaces.

You might want to invest in a battery pack such as Bluetti, Jackery, EcoFlow - this is what we use for coffee machine, hair dryer, kettle, etc. The ability to charge while driving at upto 800w is also an option with the Bluetti and EcoFlow products too. 2000w / 4000w surge is more than adequate BTW.

Yes, they are stored in the cupboard next to the gas bottle. They are a very specific size and shape, maybe 8in tall and 5in wide (from memory) I suspect you could swap them out for a higher capacity or even a single battery (I’d probably wait until the warranty ends), but don’t forget the inverter is limited to 300w.
My experience is that you’d be better investing in solar panels and keeping leisure batteries topped up.
I've got >4000w of power bank that I occasionally use if I know I’m away from EHU and my wife wants to use a hair dryer, apart from that I wouldn’t carry the extra capacity.
