Kitchen Worktop Protectors

Our little 2 year old naturally wants to play with the cooker and sink in our Cali, however, every time she offers to make Mummy and Daddy a hot chocolate, it puts me on edge with the fear of nasty scratches from the mugs on the glass tops.

I recall seeing some protective covers for sale on here before Christmas but I cannot find them in the shop now.

Am I not looking in the right place or have they been discontinued, if so why?

Many Thanks for your responses and suggestions, I have a friend who works in a laser cutting / cnc workshop who has a T5 campervan, I will have a chat with him about production costs for something similar and if feasible, I will report back should anyone else need work top protectors.

It doesn't cover the curved front edge but I also have a quilted cover over the top of that, which stays in place and protects the whole thing.

I'm using silicone mats (kitchen dept) from ikea as a temporary protector until something better becomes available
