Leaking roof

As stated in the Post you quoted, Blocked Roof Drains. There are 4 roof drains that can block, 2 x rear and 2 x front.
Rear- open tailgate and you see a grommet with a hole at the top R & L. You should be able to see through them, if not flush air/water through to clear.
Front - open roof remove plastic cover over the hydraulic ram, just unclips, and drain hole is at the front below wiring loom entry into front roof panel. DO not try to push wire through. Drain makes a 90o bend within front A pillar and there is a push connection that can easily be disconnected. Blow air or water through with a syringe to unblock. Water runs out of a grommet at base of windscreen into scuttle and hence to the ground via wheel arch.
OK, well roof drains are clear so not the issue hence reading many old posts looking for people's experiences, support & inspiration. Incidentally can you elaborate on this please, maybe somethings not sealing for me? Thanks

We know water is getting under the cap repair.. initially we noted staining and dampness both sides roughly where the grab handles are, the roof drains are now clear, however water still seems to be getting in under the cap!

Just looking for ANY water ingress possibilities, the Cali is about to go and have the cap refitted at a local paintshop, however as part of this work we need to seal up any ingress points.

It has been mentioned that the sealant around the wiring loom and front drain has been responsible, where it enters into the front roof cowl. If you plan on putting more sealant there then plug the drain hole with a straw or something to make sure no sealant gets in.
Also the sealant around the plastic cap has failed after the repair.
