Led footwell lights retrofit

Evening, i wondered if anyone else had fitted footwell lights (not foot step lights) to their T6 Cali? I have purchased the correct sized light for the blanks under the dash but noted tonight that there is no convenient original wiring plug waiting for me to tap into. These lights seem to be factory fit on some non cali T6 vans so i kinda gambled that the vans wiring loom would be the same. It runs from the same circuit that does the step lights...

I was going to do it but haven't yet. Have the connectors but need to make the loom to connect to the body control module

You may find the LED footwell lights will stay on after they would normally turn off. The reason is small LED lights are so efficient they will light up dimly, but noticeably in the dark, due to the residual current in the circuit.
