Loaded Tailgate Holder/Strut Lock

Does someone have a solution for holding the tailgate open when carrying extra weight, such as a loaded bike rack? I feel like I saw something about a 3d-printed device that would lock the strut into place. I've attempted to search for this, but can't figure out what it would actually be called.

I’ve used 15mm Snappit radiator pipe covers cut to length. B&Q sell it in long enough lengths. Packs of 3 though.
