Hi, T5.1 SE 2011 here with leak to kitchen side window.
Worked fine until I got some leaves trapped in the mechanism and then the problems started. I have tried cleaning it out and wiping clear the rubber seal. Both drain holes are not functioning with water coming inside from both after doing the syringe test on the front one and putting water into the area where the hidden drainage hole is.
I don't have the expertise to go any further. Does any other member know of anyone in the North West England (or North East) area who could possibly help?
Cheers

Also does anyone know the code for a replacement frame and window if it comes to that? Mine is greenish tint but i have just spent an hour going through all the vehicle data codes in my service book and windows are not listed!

How far up the north west? I have used a company in Carlisle called van glass, you could try them

T4Life at Goosnargh, near Preston. Good guys.

Thanks will check them out. Do you know if they know about the California leaky windows?
Yes they are familiar with them as they are fitted on other transporters too. I would give Toby a call there, very helpful chatty guy. Proper VW enthusuasts.

post number 10 op had theirs fixed at Hadwins, South Cumbria.

Sorry Penrith area so yes Carlisle would work. Did they deal with your leaking window or was it something different?
They installed two windows in the back of a caddy maxi, and the work was of good quality and price, they should be able sort out your problem, they are on kingmoor behind gates tyres

Maybe problem solved by now but I had/still have the same problem with blocked drainage. As far as I know a new window might include replacing the whole window section above the kitchen sink. Different speculations but one is that the whole kitchen module would have to be dismantled .
I solved my problem by replacing the rubber sealing around the sliding window (se relevant thread) and avoid opening it on a rainy day.

I have done a permanent fix to the kitchen side window .Where I have piped the drains into the waste water container.not visible and won't have an issue again. If not repaired be warned it will corrode your bodywork.Food luck.

I thought replacement seals weren't available and it had to be replacement of the sliding glass piece?

Interested to hear how this works out for you! I've the same issue, same side, on our 2015 Cali and despite cleaning the seals, Gummi Pflege-ing them a couple of times, still letting water in. The horizontal drain holes closest to the window work okay but the round one in the sliding channel is the issue (doesn't work at all) so been toying with a new window or seal. I read that the VW solution is a couple of screws in the butterfly handle mechanism so wanting to avoid that. A properly designed window is too much to ask!

Ive managed to get one of the hidden drains cleaned using drain unblocker (at my risk) and using a pipe cleaner along the channel and also from outside up under window. It was totally blocked. Thats 3 out of 4 working now. If I can get the 4th unblocked that might keep me going for a bit longer. The seals flatten over time but apparently you cant buy the seals separately.
