Hi
The rear driver side coil spring has broken at only 14K miles (these are the VW 30mm lowered springs) I inquired about purchasing a singular replacement for broken but was told that these are considered accessories and only come in kit of 4 springs.
anyone know how I can purchase 1 only to pass MOT
my vehicle 2917 VW California DSG 150BHP
thx

Try D Faulkner Springs in Chichester. They hold shelves and shelves of standard sizes. (They can make up anything they don't have although lead time for specials is 5-6 weeks so that may not help you.)

Possible alternative but you'd need to check and a pair is advised. says Sport but not if a 30% lowered.

Autodoc have this as Sports and also have a 40mm version listed

This might be best match??

Cheapest I could find.
Fit both to ensure a match

Please note, the first listing appears to be for the older VW T4, not for T6 as per OP?

Any old spring pair off eBay will do. MOT guy isn’t fussy about ride height.

No point having one side up to 30mm higher than the other

Just so it can pass the mot until the op finds a correct pair. Pedantic t**t!
Cost to replace the one and unbalanced height left to right may be an issue with the MOT (may) then repeat cost to replace again.
Long term cheaper to get 2 new springs and solve the problem in one go and probably quicker than an EBAY delivery delay.

Where did I advocate left to right height change? What moron would do that? Put the new ones on the rear FFS! Almost every vehicle on the road has some rake.

If there is one thing that makes me mad it’s people who judge others based on their own limited intellect.

Wow you certainly know how to treat people. Have you ever thought about saying something “Nice”.
Or possibly go into politics.
