This is my first ever campervan, a lightly used (6k miles) "poverty spec" MY24 Beach, in Starlight Blue. I'm quite tall (6'5") and having tried other layouts out first, decided that the large Beach bed works perfectly for me (especially as my wife and I are at the stage in life where we prefer eating in pubs or restaurants when on holiday than cooking for ourselves!). I couldn't be happier with the van so far. I have added tinted windows, and also new wheels and suspension. I appreciate many here won't like these changes, but I really struggled with the stock suspension, to the point of motion sickness! I have also added wind deflectors, de-chromed the front grille, and removed the awning, since it's not something we envisage using much, if at all. We'll see though, easy enough to put it back on if we change our minds.

It looks great! You’ve made some good changes in my view. I removed the awning too and the Beach looks so much better without it. Wind deflectors (Climair work well), tinted windows and wheels make it look even better.

When you say poverty spec, I presume you don’t have the parking heater, but lots of options can be retrofitted. If you have the two seat bench there are loads of options for adding different kinds of pods if you do decide to go down that route.

Yes thanks, we do have the two seater bench (only two of us now the kids have grown up, and the increased headroom is important for me). And yes, no parking heater - we’ll only sleep in the van in summer, and mostly on electric hookup, so it’s no loss for us (and as you say, worst case we can add one aftermarket if we want).
