New Cali owner with heating question

I have just got my Cali and for the first time switched the heating on with control panel now it all seems to be working but I can hear like a knocking or ticking noise gone outside and can’t hear it is this normal

Yes it’s normal. If you do a search lots of posts explain what it is etc. It helps me sleep at night lol

Bit like a bomb..... when the ticking stops, then’s the time to worry!

normal. its the fuel dosing pump for the heater.they should be on rubber mounts but often tick louder on startup as they soak the burner matting inside the heater.
mine is very quiet but noticeable if you listen out for it.

It will become a very comforting sound. Along with that of the (mercifully quiet) fridge compressor. Even lulls me to sleep these days...
