Interesting, thanks. I tried this weeks ago after reading about the My Volkswagen login on here, but back then it did not recognise my commission number. I tried it again and it seemed to recognise the number but could not display the type of vehicle. It also said 2022 (ordered end of December). Now I log in and it says no vehicle is registered on my account.
 
Our beach was shipped from the port on Friday last week, can anyone advise how long theirs had to wait in Grimsby before being transported to the dealers?
 
Hi Dean, it’s 150 Ocean ordered in early December. I’ll know it’s happening when it’s confirmed in a week or so I guess.

I know what you mean. We live in Dorset near the coast so you can imagine all the Calis on the road and parked up. Hopefully we will be both joining them soon.
 
Hi I ordered my Ocean at the beginning of November 2020 (with towbar), and according to the dealer I was to expect a delivery date of 30th April 2021. I've found reading the posts enlightening to say the least. I have been left very much to chase things myself with no proactive information from the dealer and then a wait of some weeks for a repsonse. He blamed VW for not keeping him informed and has no told me that the build week was to be week 20. Can someone tell me how I get access to the VW chat where I can check progress? Thanks so much

I am in the same boat. VW chat do not have accurate information so it's pretty pointless asking them to chase. My dealer has advised that because they are so busy and due to the number of delays, they are not updating the system real time. VW chat have been advised directly not to discuss Cali orders with the purchaser as the info held is inaccurate. Your dealer will be able to speak directly to brand on your behalf though. Today I had it confirmed that my vehicle will be shipped before the end of June. We ordered it in September 2020, 204PS, 4 motion and tow bar and TPMS too. It's been a long wait but we re now getting excited to receive a delivery date. We too had. confirmed build date of week 20 (WC 17th May) Hope that helps.

mine was on production line on 11th of may. so it cold be on the next ship maybe ?
 
Our beach, ordered feb 6th, was shipped on Friday and has now arrived in the UK. Dealer has advised max if 2 weeks before we can collect it. Found VW chat information was spot on. Getting excited now! Not long to go and, all told not that long from order to delivery.

For the Swiss contingent, I have now been told my build will be in August but do not have a specific date so I don't know if this is a provisionary slot or a confirmed build date.
 
Just called Eurovans... “Sorry Tim I’ve got no update for you”.
Ordered 8 Oct. Have had December, to June build weeks/months, latest being a June build. So I put it to the back of my mind, determined to make it to June til I call again....nothing! Apparently that build month ‘list’ hasn’t been updated, and they haven’t dropped a build week in... so he’ll call VW sales tomorrow and call me back. I won’t hold my breath!

I’ll keep a look out for a new Cali, I live in your area. Is Lancashire van centre in Preston your dealer?
 
Took a call from my dealer this morning after he received an update from VW. 2022 expected delivery now. So much for October delivery. Time to put it out of my mind for another 6 or 8 months.
 
I ordered a 204 with tow bar in mid September. Was given March build (number 9 in the first list). Nothing happened in March but then given Apr 12 (week 15) confirmed build week. It remained in build until 19th May (6 weeks) when it showed status 38 (at Emden cleared for shipping). Since then I have become an avid ship watcher and have seen the Malacca Highway or other sister ships leave Emden for Sheerness 4 times. Each time I ask chat for updated code and it has thus far always been that it is still at Emden and not to worry as it could be there for 4 weeks. It couldn't be more frustrating.
I hope all those behind me who are hoping for a quick transit from factory to their drive have their wishes come true but I have to conclude that VW have many tricks up their sleeve right to the finishing line in order to exceed our expectations (in a bad way).

Anyway, the Thames Highway is leaving soon for Sheerness so really hoping my van will be on it (but expecting that it is probably parked in a corner of a distant carpark being abused by seagulls and running its leisure batteries down.

And then there's the pirates in the channel to worry about......

Order date, Lance? Seems similar to mine, ordered mid March, original estimate October, now Feb '22. As you say, out of mind: it wasn't ever going to come for summer so I guess before next Easter would be fine.
Doesn't mean I'm not watching others' vans arriving with jealousy (happy for them of course!)
