Congrats!!! How long was your van at Emden? Mines been there 16 days so far, longest 16days of the process yet! Lol!

I contacted VW chat 27/9 to be told it was at Emden and would be 15-20 days there so a pretty sharp turnaround really. Have you been on the chat recently? Might be worth a punt if not…fingers crossed for you!

Yeah I’ve tried - they’ve spent two days telling me their systems are down and to try again later and now today they’re saying I should contact my van centre as they don’t have accurate info? The van centre doesn’t think it made the last boat so now waiting again to see if it makes the next one which will be the 4th Emden to Sheerness boat that’s been there since it was released to shipping. I was told 15-20 too and in fairness, it’s day 16 and after the last 9 months I didn’t expect anything better! Lol!

Can I ask when u ordered.
I ordered in feb and my Cali is in exit port at the moment. Not sure when it will arrive in uk.

I managed to get my VIN number via the VW van chat using my order number. It shows my Cali information but will not show location as I need to connect as primary user which I need to setup in the Van itself. With 2 keys !
been told my Cali is in Germany port awaiting a vessel .

My dealer thought mine was still in Germany until today when it turns out it got here this week! I think the System went down so some stuff is not up to date so you never know
 
ROAD TAX PRICE

I seen a few discussions in the past but nothing Recent.
How much is the ROAD TAX?

I have read anywhere from £500 to £1300. and mentions changes in a lot of threads.

I’m now looking into getting the parts from south Africa as they have RHD with wireless charging point, just waiting to hear back from VW SA hopefully they are better than VW UK

Lhd Cali coast 199/204 dsg. Order accepted 15/11/20 and still waiting. Now living in Hannover so maybe I should pop around the factory and knock some heads together. Latest I heard from dealer a couple months ago was Nov/dec delivery but not holding my breath.
 
ok just to put a leveller on everyone waiting so patiently and otherwise, take a moment with this ...... sat with pal today who tells me his mates cali arrived last week and 2 days after it arrived it got stolen........ just think about that agony for a moment.......

Wow, that’s a bummer.

Any info on how it was stolen..? I’d like to protect mine (when it arrives…!) so any info would be very useful.
