At risk of getting boo’ed off the forum by those who have faced huge delays for their Oceans. We were told Friday (first positive update ) that our Coast had already been built in week 17 (status code 38) and was waiting at Emden.Mine is also waiting for a full ship

Can the net be retrofitted or does it require factory installed mounts?

I read somewhere this week if I remembered where I would post it, that the VW CEO said any new order for any VW would be 2023 now.Good news!
Apart from Coasts and Beaches (mainly) moving more quickly, I think that perfect storm of shortages etc is maybe mostly over now. Would an Ocean ordered today still have a 12+ month leadtime?
I wonder if we need to think about an extra status code ?Update from our dealer (Ian at Liverpool) says we MIGHT get our Coast (ordered on the last day Coasts were available Nov ‘21) in time for the Jubilee weekend!
Could ours be on a boat today?!

39 = Vehicle on ship
40 = Vehicle arrival at UK port
60 = Dispatched to Dealer
70 = Vehicle arrived at Dealer
71 = Ragging up the motorway singing along to cliff Richards ‘summer holiday ‘
You can still track ships using a variety of websites. Add ‘Emden’ under port and the departures appear. Some are classed as ‘vehicle carriers’ but I’ve no idea what ship will be full of Cali’s todayHa ha! Love it!
I think it was in a YouTube video from ‘A Bus and Beyond’, Shaun tracked the boat their van was on from Germany to UK. Is this a thing?
Suppose this was before the world fell apart so necessary info is probably no longer available to customers
Sorry to those still waiting for Oceans

Having waited 18 months I know exactly how that feels, but have the first arrive damaged just adds salt to the wound. Fingers crossed you get it sooner than later hand hopefully with a little compensation/freebies for your patience.Still waiting for our beach that was ordered in March 21, it arrived in 5 months and was damaged on the boat, still waiting for the replacement which was to be expedited and is now at 11 months for the replacement, still not really sure when I will see it.
So currently at 15 months with no sign of it coming yet
That is awful, feel for you. I think if mine turned up next week damaged after 13 months I'd give up and get shafted in the 2nd hand market instead.Still waiting for our beach that was ordered in March 21, it arrived in 5 months and was damaged on the boat, still waiting for the replacement which was to be expedited and is now at 11 months for the replacement, still not really sure when I will see it.

I am not sure I would have your patience. Significant compensation is needed!Still waiting for our beach that was ordered in March 21, it arrived in 5 months and was damaged on the boat, still waiting for the replacement which was to be expedited and is now at 11 months for the replacement, still not really sure when I will see it.

You ordered just before me and the build a week after - given your towbar, sounds about right. We were told 4 - 6 weeks after build to be in the UK and the dealer has a 3 day T/O - which would put us anywhere between mid June to mid July - should be same for you more or less. I'll pray for the former, expect the latter and be happy if it's somewhere in the middle.If it helps anyone in this apparent time on illogical production/delivery processes:
- Ocean with towbar, sports pack, pro-Nav, art velour and wood effect flooring
-Ordered UK (Reading) June ‘21
- New confirmed build date week 21 (w/c 23rd May)
- was previously planned for build week 10
- hoping for July delivery (but who the f@&k knows?!)
