New Tyres - Kuhmo

Just a quick post, we didn’t need new front tyres but a brush with a kerb whilst doing a 3 point turn took a big chunk out of the sidewall ‍

To be fair would have changed the front tyres later this year, certainly before the winter...

Anyway a quick search of the forum seemed to point to Kuhmo tyres as a good choice, taking that advice went in search of said tyres, found them on Blackcircles for £128 each fitted, went to the Kuhmo UK website and they had a search and quote link, found a local tyre fitter that quoted £124 each fitted.

Booked and fitted a couple of days later and wow what an improvement, quieter smoother and just generally a better feel, who’d think a different tyre could make such a difference

Previous tyres were decent Falcons so not a particularly cheap tyre but these are so much better.

We’re on 18” Dakar wheels so the tyre in question is a 255/45 R18 Y 103, so the proper load rated tyre.

So if you’re looking for tyres I can certainly recommend the Kuhmo’s
