I've had my Ocean for a year now (it was an ex demonstrator) and the first year, Sterling insured it for £520.00. This was with a 5,000 mile limit (I had to send a photo of the odometer.)
Their renewal was £680.00 last week so I shopped around. In the end, I took advantage of the multi vehicle insurance LV offer, and to insure from early November to early next August (when my car runs out) added only £170.00 to the bill and the mileage (I put 8,000) was a guide, no proof required. It was so low I had them confirm it by email before I committed. It has all the legal / hire / windscreen of my main car as it is group policy. They didn't ask for a tracker (the one supplied by Sterling stops working at the end of the period.)
I accept insurance is also about post code, how you park / store etc and we seem to be in a relatively cheap area, parked behind locked electric gates etc but if your other car insurance has a multi vehicle discount, it may be worth ringing them.
