We are off to Norway soon & know it will be expensive...
I just signed up for the AutoPASS system, so my credit card will be silently whittled away as I drive.
I see several towns, including Bergen & Stavanger, have a City-Toll system, but I can't find out if it is just an inconvenience or if it is downright dissuasive.
Has anybody any recent experience of driving & parking (not overnighting) in either town?
What is the toll charge & what does it cover?
Is visitor parking in such towns free/cheap/expensive/impossible?
Is there obvious outside parking instead?
Thanks for any tips!
