Hello everyone,
Having owned a T5 SE and now a T6.1 Ocean 150 tdi I've been thinking about what would be my perfect spec Cali.
Obviously this is very subjective and my own version seems to change on a daily basis but I though it would be interesting to see if my current unicorn spec exists and what other people's version is.
Mine:
- T6 Ocean (is this the perfect blend of the T6 updates but keeping some of the simpler tech of the T5 and arguably a nicer cab interior?)
- 2019 MY, to get the split work top glass and opening sky view canvas on the front of the pop top (both have been a revelation. Simple things, eh!)
- 2l TSi (this is potentially the controversial bit and I know a diesel suits the California in many ways but I do like a petrol engine!)
- 4 Motion would be in the dream spec but I don't think this was ever offered with the TSi in the UK?
- Automatic
- Rear shower option
- Interior lighting concept pack (not all T6 seem to have this but might have been standard on T6.1?)
I try to keep an eye on various classifieds to see if a similar van comes up but I think I've only seen one, though there maybe a few owners out there.
These are obviously the ramblings of someone who's over-thought the subject but I thought I'd put it out there as some sort of catharsis!
