What are you trying to ashieve with the results of such a poll?
Btw you missed out on some colors in your list ...

Yes, the poll only allows 10 option unfortunately so tried to pick the more common ones.

Buying a cali for me is a huge expense and the only way I can justify it is that the depreciation and therefore cost of ownership should be on a par or even better than buying a car at half the price. I'm still unsure on colours but wanted to make sure I don't go for something that is going to suffer more depreciation when I come to sell.

Was thinking it was yet again a Q in that direction.
I honestly do not understand why one thinks on resale value when ordering any new verhicle .
I buy a car i like and don't even think about resale value or the next owner , pretty useless imo.
When you buy a house do you think about what color the next owner would like to see the kitchen ...?
Why not put up a advert asking for a future owner would like to put a Cali togheter that you wil buy now and sell him within' time , no worry's about resale value!
If you put on a poll to see witch colors people order so are popular i think you get a better idea of what people want

I agree to a point, I wouldn't choose a colour I didn't like just because it had good residuals and if there was a particular colour I really loved I'd pick it without worrying about the residuals. The fact is I'm fairly undecided, and would be fairly equally happy with 3 or 4 options, so why not try and reduce the cost of ownership by picking one that will be easy to sell. There is a difference between a poll on colours that are popular vs colours that you'd happily live with.

The Cali is a bit of an experiment for me - I'll be using it as a company car and hoping it will cost me less than buying a new passat over 3 years due to it's sky high resale. If it does I'll be able to justify buying a new one every three years which will be great!

Can anyone see into the future and say what colours will be popular then? No, trends and colour popularity come and go, just buy the colour YOU want to be seen driving around in. A nice, good condition Cali will always find a buyer whatever the colour.

Would like only buy black or starlight blue!

This is becoming an obsession and therefore a worry! Obsessions never end in a good place. We could do with more tolerance of each others likes and dislikes.

Surprised to see Blackberry at the bottom of the pile, saw one in the showroom and it looked really nice.

TBH I thought beige (my colour) would have been the one to avoid, because beige is so er .... beige! :D

Does any other manufacturer have a colour with beige in the title?

Why do people hate blackberry so much? It's quite funny

Blackberry is Marmite.
Saw one a few weeks ago when the sun was shining and it looked Fab...!!!

When we looked to buy the dealer took us to a "new" colour vehicle at the rear of the dealership. We both said "No", very Marmite and the Wife loves the stuff.

Went instead for underpants white, and the Wife had the Xenon headlights.

I do not give a @0** what others think of my colour choice I am happy with it. I sure others are happy with their choice of colour, Just do not camp next to mine if you don't like the colour and it upsets you :thumb
If buying new rather spend the extra non solid colours cost on some other bling

Most of the colours are all boring TBH, they are not really holiday fun colours are they? (apart from yellow)

Can you imagine on old T2 in Natural Grey or Blackberry?? I think not, the colours are all too car-like.

Totally agree. I went for white to allow me to wrap the bottom half. Then the T6 came out with the two tone and I didn't bother. I may do it once its out of warranty, particularly as VW struggle with matching white. Very partial to orange.

I found a conversion that exactly fitted my list of requirements, LWB, high top, great! But it was beige. Couldn't do it. Just couldn't.

But to others it would be what it had that was important, in fact that same van sold the following week.
