I used copilot around europe which works of satalite or 4g so no signal no problem and i believe they are in talks to have it added to carplay. Watch this space

Hi Phatwork,
Thank you for the info, I still use google and Apple for navigating along with a few other well known apps. My current phone package comes with unlimited date at less than a tenner, (so happier there now) also I can download required maps prior to travel so can be used off line when needed.
I have decided to stick with the current system after adding an Alpine amp and a sub under the seat. With the speaker’s previously upgraded and now with the sub and amp it creates a nice detailed sound.
The link you mentioned, it looks an interesting site that may be useful with other possible updates at a future date. Thank you.

its more of a common question - how do we update the software - whats the latest version... etc.
