RCD 310 & Media-In

2011 Cali: 180 man withRCD 310 Radio:
I have a factory 6 CD autochanger with our cali. Can anyone tell me if I can also install a MEDIA-IN unit in conjunction with the 6-CD unit? Or do I have to sacrifice this for the MEDIA-IN unit? The RCD 310 user manual seems to indicate that you can have both and you only have to sacrifice the AUX-IN connection. Can anyone help please? Thanks J

It's been a while since i did anything to a car with CD changer to be honest as most people relay on SD or MDI.

This link would suggest you wouldn't lose the Aux In which i know is true and if I remember correctly the CD changer would be fine too -

Thanks Stu, I will check this out.
The reason I asked was because when I ordered my Cali from new, I was told the 6-CD changer was factory fitted whilst the MDI was fitted by my local dealer. I ordered and on the same day I was due to pick the vehicle up, was told that I could not have both. Despite having paid for both.
I kept the MDI kit anyway and was thinking of installing this now. Wanted too keep the CD changer. I have lost some confidence in the dealer I bought it from, not in their customer service but their knowledge of the vehicle. The manual shows MDI and CD changer on the radio menu so thought these might be able to be combined?
I will give these guys on the link a call, see if they know...
