Replacement Alternator for T4 Red I

Could anyone help me out by posting a link to where I can buy a replacement Alternator for a T4 Red I please? I presume it's 120 amps?

My regular garage are normally great sourcing parts but they struggled to find one today with any great certainty today. VW were no help. Thanks Paul

It's a 2001 model but I don't think that's makes much difference to any guidance.

Errr, why is it an issue? May seem like a silly question but, part number? Size/type/output?
Can’t be something rare?

If it’s an issue I can ask my friendly mechanic who looks after my red i to source one.

Hi Sidepod no id agree I didn't expect there to be an issue sourcing a new one. And there probably won't be. I can see two alternators for a 2.5 diesel on the just campers web page. My garage said they would prefer to see the part before ordering which is perfectly fine it's just I'm on a bit of a tight schedule with a potential buyer coming at the end of August from abroad to buy the van and I'm not around for a couple of weeks to sort it.

I'm sure they are one of the more generic items all being well
