Firstly, thanks to all those who post useful things here.
This is my first post and I've found it useful reading all of your comments and ideas.
I live in Glasgow and often go away for the weekend in my Cali during winter.
A friend is visiting from Australia in early March, and i was thinking about a longer trip.
Does anybody have any tips for campsites that are DEFINITELY open in the highlands and islands from March onwards / all year round?
I did find this site:

But there's no advanced "search by opening time" function.
I'm thinking Western Isles & Skye or some such....
