Service due...

So my Cali is due a service soon (T5 174 Tiptronic), 6 years old but only 19k on the clock so very little wear and tear.
I was wondering about items that might be due replacement due to age. I'm thinking water pump, air con service etc.
Can anyone advise on anything else that might need checking/replacing on a 6 year old van?
I don't want to spend out unnecessarily but as our pride and joy I want to look after it as it's a long termer - I think we might always keep it even after we upgrade to a motorhome, and let the family borrow it.
We've always had it on long life servicing so this will only be it's third service but I'm thinking from now on we might start getting it done annually.

Tyres have a time limit?
Brake Disks wear through use, but also through corrosion.
Likewise, brake/clutch fluid and antifreeze have a lifespan.

Old habits die hard. Tyres changed after 5 years worn or not.

Probably unnecessary with modern tyres.

The AA Have this to say on tyres:

Tyre age
As well as wearing out in use, tyres degrade naturally through exposure to heat, sunlight (Ultraviolet/UV) and rain. The amount of damage depends on the exposure and the severity of the weather.

Damage through ageing is more common with caravans, trailers and other vehicles only used occasionally. Tyres will normally wear out before they become unserviceable due to ageing.

Check for signs of cracking on the sidewalls of tyres four or five years old if your car is parked outside and get them replaced if cracking is severe. Any tyre specialist will be able to give you advice if you're not sure.

As for the other concerns the service schedule will state what should be changed and when. There is a thread on cambelts with vw telling Brits to change them sooner than the rest of the world... But most other items are as the service book - fluids, etc. But as Welshgas says, some items are wear based.

I'm ok on tyres had to have them all replaced a couple of years ago as they had cracked.
No cambelt to worry about as it's the 2.5
Will get garage to check all other items they're very good so won't take the mick.

Gate couplings may need changing as vehicle hasn't been used much, they are a composite material and may well degrade.

Air con will probably benefit from a recharge.
Power steering fluid.

Do they do a " Butler" upgrade like the SatNav upgrade you can get?

So jumping on another old thread but hoping you good people will see this. Bought a new to us 2016 Ocean this month. Checked out the tyres and correct me if I’m wrong… are these going to be the originals?????

Surely not after approx 53000 miles…(by my calculations these tyres were made in March/April 2016?) - these are the 2 rears. surely they’ve not lasted 50 odd thousand miles? I have Goodyear Eagle F1’s on my car which has done 65k. I’m ok set number 3 of those.

The fronts have Michelin Agilis which I can’t find a DOT on but they do look newer.

Edit; just had a good look at the Agilis and they don’t have a DOT code which I’m sure can’t be right. I’m going to research new tyres with a view to changing next time the van is in i

I replaced my original back tyres at 47.5k and they were still legal. They had been swapped to the front at 28k.
They were all weather upgrades in my spec - Continental Vanco Four seasons.
So not beyond the reasons of possibility.

My first front tyres lasted 45000 km (30000mi?).
My rear tyres lasted up to 90000km (60000mi?)

And try to look at the inside of the wheels for the DOT.
