Service interval?

Recently had a letter from my dealer saying my Cali is due for servicing.
Registered May 2019, 10100 miles
However, according to the dash readout
oil service is due in 3100miles 308 days.
Inspection service due in 9600miles 297 days.
Does it really need servicing now?
As my supplying dealer is an hours drive away and recently suffered bad press on the forum I'm not inclined to use them anyway.
If I had to service the van thought I would use VW at Bury St Edmunds.
Any thoughts?

I have an annual; oil & filter change regardless of mileage. 1st and 3rd years done at my local garage, 2 year one done by VW dealer.
