Watching this video, 7 minutes in California Chris (to whom I am enormously grateful for his helpful videos) is removing black plastic covers to the hub nuts on the Aracaju wheel of an Ocean:

Did anyone else get these hub nut covers on a recent new delivery. They are not on my vehicle. They do seem to appear in the brochure:

One last attempt to see if anyone can answer the above, before I contact my dealer tomorrow ...

I'd assume that they should be there. Go to Dealer on that basis.

I think they are a VW Accessory available from Dealer, not factory supplied.

Thanks BJG & WG. I wonder if anyone here took delivery of a new vehicle with them fitted standard, failing that it look like WG may be correct - though they do appear on the brochure.

looking through some 2016 pics of a rented van with Aracaju wheels, the caps are there ... so no reason whey they should not be there on a new one. Ask nicely and I am sure the dealer will provide.

Photo copy from a VW Caravelle 6.1, has nut covers.

Former EOS car & set of T6 Cascavel wheels came with nut covers.

As Aracaju were not around until 2019 when the T6.1 came out that’s not a good guide.
My T6.1 came without the caps.

Our T5.1 didn’t come with any bolt covers, the bolts went rusty, we complained to the dealer and belatedly they provided some. I guess it will depend on the dealer.

Our Cascavel wheels didn’t have them on when we collected our Beach so I asked the salesman for a set which they provided foc.

Thank you, all, for the responses.

@kurienp I have messaged Paul, thank you for the link.

Living on the seafront, I am sensitive to the accelerating effect of the saline air. I like the idea of a light coat of grease or WD-40 on the exposed hub nuts protected then with caps.

16 inch Claytons came with the covers on our 21 plate Coast

They were on mine (Nov 2020 delivery).

This gets more complicated.

Paul on the T6 Forum was prepared to sell a set (20) but only by Paypal, and I recently cancelled my PayPal account in protest of their closing (for purely political reasons) the account of the Free Speech Union Account where I am a member.

So I searched on EBay, Amazon etc., and they all say their 19mm wheel hub caps are for T6's up to 2020 and, also, that do not go over the locking bolts which rather defeats the purpose if only 4 out of 5 bolts have covers.

All suggestions welcome. As I mention above, I would like to cover the nuts due to a saline location - but all 5 per wheel ( i.e. including the locknuts).

I bought my covers off Amazon for my T5.1, four standard and one locking bolt cover per wheel. As far as I can see, they are still available?

I think there are possibly 2 different bolt head sizes for VWs

My T5.1 used the same size for both the wheel bolts and the locking bolts.
