Lovely crisp line between the two as well
I need to get my spray can out and give it a go too.
Got the same but in beige for the lower half.
I think there’s a bit of overspray in that wheel arch you might want them to rectify
The metalic green is an expensive option - the candy white is a cheap solid cover - so youve paid for an expensive paint job and paid extra to get a cheap paint job sprayed over it - worlds gone mad hahaAnyone got a 2-tone from the factory where the white top has been sprayed over the base colour? Just interested to see if it’s common or rare?
This is ours … A Sage Green base van with Candy White over painted top half. The white overspray can be seen (and felt) on the C-Pillar. In the engine bay, the base green can be seen under the white overspray in one area.

Our factory two tone green & white is the same. A green van (the interior is entirely green top to bottom like yours) with the top painted white.Anyone got a 2-tone from the factory where the white top has been sprayed over the base colour? Just interested to see if it’s common or rare?
Yup, ours tooOur is the opposite. Same colours but BL green lower half sprayed over a Candy White van. I think that is the usual way and yours is more of an exception @Hawthorn37?
That’s an insane idea. You’re going to get issues with insurers and big repair bills unless vw also subsidise these!Speaking to a VW dealer on Friday, he was at a meeting when he was told VW are proposing importing single colour ID Buzzes, then having them wrapped as an official VW option, as they can't meet the demand for two-tones at the factory.
He had mentioned at the meeting the fact that some insurance companies were not happy about insuring wrapped vehicles, and what would happened in the event of panel damage. They said VW would supply replacement matching sections of wrap. That’s an insane idea. You’re going to get issues with insurers and big repair bills unless vw also subsidise these!
Maybe a Buzz Harlequin like the Polo.Speaking to a VW dealer on Friday, he was at a meeting when he was told VW are proposing importing single colour ID Buzzes, then having them wrapped as an official VW option, as they can't meet the demand for two-tones at the factory.
That’s been around for a while. I think the asking price was the wrong side of £100k at one point. How about this, for sale at Listers Worcsester. Not my cup of tea but it is different.
