Sliding Seat Catch

The lever used to slide the rear bench seat forward doesn't spring back to its position against the seat. The lever functions OK when I need to slide the seat forward, it's just that its floppy when in the down position. Any ideas how to get into the back of the catch. I.e.below the seat cushion or remove the drawer?

Mine does that bob just pull the seat back a bit without using the lever I just grab the underneath
Of the seat it should spring back

Thanks Kev. Catch fully functional again. I envisaged a strip down of the bench seat

(2019 Ocean - 2 floor rails - 4Motion) I have exact same problem as described "bed lever dangles loose and rattles when driving, lever function OK". I tried carrying out the suggestion as described in post but no joy, tried slightly twisting the the seat when moving it back to see if might be out of alignment (no joy). Any ideas/ would be appreciated, thank you

Will it push back into position? Sometimes my beach one doesnt go all the way back in but will push back fine.
