Strange problem cropped up on a recent trip . . . Drawer in rear seat became difficult to open, then gradually almost impossible. The more I tried to work out what was wrong, the worse it got, a clue that something was working loose and becoming detached.
I discovered that there is a long shaft which connects the drawer opening lever and catch on the l hand side to the catch on the r hand side. This is secured by a long bolt, tightened by a Hx key on the left side, access fiddly between drawer and kitchen unit, but not too bad. Tightening that got the catches in line, problem solved.
Small Hx key needed, I think 2.5 mm or 3 mm - a size in most cycle tool kits.
Seat working fine now.
