Smallest battery that will ...

... start the Cali?
After a dead battery in the Alps (my fault) I'm going to carry a small (get out of jail) charged battery for emergencies, me and others!
Any thoughts on what size would be the smallest I could get away with?

There are treads on small quick-starters , energy-packs .
Carrying just a spare normal battery is not ideal imo.

Startercables are a good back-up , i have them in every verhicle , offcoarse you need a donorverhicle

I too have leads but as you say another vehicle required.

Can you use one of the aux batteries as a back up?

Switch on roof mounted solar system so starter battery can be recharged a day or two before leaving?

It looks great.
Could you leave your headlights on all night to test the next day if the booster works well.

My son did on his Laguna Diesel. My Booster pack started it 1st time.

As above. Excellent piece of kit. Hides in the dead space by the table (long item place).
