On the Dusseldorf show it was also on the VW stand , we saw a whole shop dedicated to this when in Berlin (in the middle of a city/shoppingarea) in september .

Looks like a cut-price, anorexic version. It’s new, and I don’t like it.

True, but would you stick a Dacia badge on your Cali then? The badge, the logo, the brand. Companies pay millions to get right!

No because it is a VW, not a Decia. Personally I prefer the old badge

Didn't buy a Dacia, bought a VW, I'm not concerned what the badge looks like.
Having worked in the industry no doubt many man hours and great expense would have been spent by the relevant departments.
Plus, dont forget the dealership waste and expense in rebranding various signage and documentation.
Having been involved in rebranding with a manufacturer the costs charged by them to dealerships is staggering .
Personally would prefer monies spent being redirected to vehicle developments that really matter, example better standard headlamps, just a thought !

Spotted 6.1 and grand on Swiss forecourt (near Lake Geneva)

The front end looks really cool, so did the controls for roof etc. Roof canvas seems thicker, plus seat material and rear bed comfort mattress looked way better.

A 6 and a 6.1 absolutely no difference in the style of badge
Only payed attention after seeing that people had posted about the badge change .??????
