Space Saver as a Spare ?

My Cali didn't come with a Spare, having 18" alloys so looking to sort this.
I have a Vredestein Spacesaver Wheel with the numbers 195/75 - 18 106P
I know the issue with 18's is not fitting in the spare wheel holder, but would it fit as its a Spacesaver ?
I've seen online that it suits a few VW's including Caravelle, Touareg and also the California
However I trust more the wisdom and experience of the people on here, so any thoughts ?

I had the same problem. I bought a 17” carrier from the club shop and a steel 17” off the web, with tyre. The rolling diameter of the 17” is the same as the 18” so can be used in an emergency; and it fits in the carrier. I can’t remember the tyre size from memory but will try to find out and post up.

Just found the details. Re the space saver, I wouldn’t fancy a 3 tonne Cali on one!
