Quite a bit actually as Portuguese wine is good.....but the blast up to Beja and back tomorrow will be fun in my car that has NO electronic aids or even power steering.

What is it?

Does anybody have a technical explanation of what is causing the dips, other than 'light' diesels (mine's a 2.5 litre, so not exactly light). Turbo? Waste gate? EGR?
