Steel wheel sizes

I'm after putting steel wheels on my
CALIFORNIA - 2.0 BiTDI SE 180 4dr 4MOTION.
I'v been offered a very cheap set of 15" wheels...I'm guessing these are too small.

Is there anywhere I can find out what size steel wheels I can get away with; 17" alloys on there now.

not 100% sure but 140 cali's came with 16 inch alloys and the 180 had 17 inch to cope with the bigger brakes so 17 inch minimum i would say

You need minimum 17" , just check out price at tyrecenters , VW will pull you a theeth...
