Stopover Lancaster to Gretna

Hi all

We need to be in West Scotland on Saturday early morning so looking for a great, simple stopover (ideally Lancaster and up - M6) where we could arrive late (probably after 11pm) and leave 6am ish? Any recommendations? Our usual, Tebay services campsite, is fully booked. Thanks all.

This may be too far north for you, but it’s good stopover: Caravan Club Strathclyde Country Park. It’s south of Glasgow. We used it when touring the west coast a couple of years ago.
Edit: I’ve reread your question, and it won’t suit, last arrival is 8 pm. Sorry

Just park up in car park instead of campsite it was very quiet we arrived about midnight and paid for parking in the services.
