Switch/valve in the gas bottle compartment

That is really helpful. I gues it cost something like 200EUR.

The component with number 4. Anyone was able to open this? There is special way to open it or I have no enough strength?
You’ll need something like this. Flat piece of metal with 2 bolts correct distance apart. Similar to this Clean Water Tank cap tool.

It’s the drain for your freshwater tank, in the position shown it’s open.
Just bought a new Cali and found this red lever. It is very hard indeed to move and did not to force it. Is this normal or do I go back to the dealership?

Can’t recall how stiff, but I imagine the dealer will just say it’s normal. If you’re still under warranty can’t hurt to raise it with dealer (assume Breeze at Havant?)

Hi,
Yes Breeze at Havant. I will go up there tomorrow as I don't want to sheer off the lever. When I said it was stiff, it just wont move. I bought the Cali from Lookers at Guildford. The handover was pretty useless. Salesman in a rush. Went through the basics but not much more. Thanks for your advice. This Forum is great.

Best let them have a go…… they can take responsibility!
You are trying to pull it in the right direction? As in the first post.

Hi
Just seen this post. I went out to my van to check. In the handbook & my old van T6 this was right. If you go to your van now I am sure if you pull the lever towards you, opposite to what the handbook says it will be open. The position it’s in now is closed.
Hope this helps & will save you a trip to Breeze.
Kevin

The lever was quite stiff on our new Cali. Loosened up after using it a few times.

Just put a bit of force on it clockwise and it should do a 1/4 turn. Then work it backwards and forwards a few times.

It might move more freely if you partially fill the fresh water tank and get some water through the valve.

Thanks. It won’t move in either direction. I think the wise move will be for me to visit Breeze up at Waterlooville.

Thanks Kevin. Unfortunately, it won’t move in either direction. I think I will visit Breeze tomorrow for them to take a look. John
