T6 Side light problem

We have a 17 plate T6 and the front side lights have started playing up... They don't come on when they are switched on but they do come on individually when the corresponding side front indicator is switched on (the headlights are both ok). Has anyone else had similar issues?

Just checking which lights you are calling the sidelights?
I say this because the fog lights, under the bumper, are programmed to light up when the headlights are on, when turning or indicating, but only on the side you are turning. This sounds exactly like you are describing.
The fog lights can be turned on by pulling the lighting switch.

Awesome, thank you. Given your response, it's definitely the fog lights not the side lights so I don't have a problem afterall..doh
