Ordered 20th Jan. Went into build week 16. Dealer expecting it to arrive late this week or early next week. Therefore spot on with his original estimate of end of May.

We ordered a Beach in mid-Feb and eventually got build week 26 offered. Phone call from VW Vans in Guildford yesterday to let us know all build dates have been wiped by VW main sales to allow for MY17 changes (and possible price rise). He had no further info but suspects delivery will be late Sept / Oct!!!
I've been quietly waiting and enjoying this forum waiting to properly join in. The wait may be even longer than I feared!
I cannot believe how variable delivery delays are. Even allowing for different specs, the delivery spread is very wide. Could certain dealers be performing better than others somehow?
I ordered in mid January with predicted build week 16 and delivery by the end of May. It was built in week 16 and I am collecting on Friday week all being well. Eurovans of Crawley are spot on.
Where did you order and when? That seems s long time even if ordered today!Ours has just been moved again!!! End of October I am now considering cancelling as this is such a cock up, how can they run a company like this? I only found out because I phoned my dealer on the off chance about something else.

Sorry, I should of updated, they decided I could not have the ex demo until July 1st so we switched back to our order that we placed on December 1st, however I think due to us cancelling it and then reinstating it again caused a few problems

Same time as our Beach order...
Last contact was that all the systems were on hold during changes to the 2017 lists... I can't think that production stopped, that would be ludicrous, they must be still building Cali's.
Seems that communication is very reliant on the system, without additional information letting us know what the delays are, and why they are occurring.
Perhaps the big wigs at vwcs could issue a bulletin.
I am hoping for an update after my sales guy, Guy, comes back from holiday - he was hoping the picture would be clearer when he got back. Let's wait and see.

A couple of weeks, but not sure when from-to.Do you know when Guy is back from holiday? Today's posts are making me nervous...
The 19th of May I think, as I ordered just before going on holiday and it transpires we both return at the same time.A couple of weeks, but not sure when from-to.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you !Hi all
Been watching this thread with great interest. We ordered our T6 Ocean 150PS on 26 Jan with an estimated delivery date of 31 May. Our dealer (VW Manchester) has confirmed that it is now in build - after a bit of prompting. Build is taking longer due to parts availability, but Mark is hoping we can get down to Woolacombe with the boards on top on 29th June, and catch our ferry to Ireland a few days later... Will keep you posted!
Cheers Richy! It'll be great getting back into a VW camper again - last time we did, it was the early 70s on trips to Biarritz in a T2.... It all depends on Mein Herren at VW delivering on time.I'll keep my fingers crossed for you !
Cool, my mate has a T2 just now, he loves it but he's campervan nut and is able to repair it himself.
There's certainly a good few creature comforts in the Ocean compared to a T2.
Our dealership gave us one leat week for the day, the auto DSG took a bit of getting used too (left foot braking !)
We've sold out car and our trip to Loch Lomond with our boat is on the balance if we
